Dust-free sanding - How dust free?

In this wonderful country house in Perthshire Citrus were commissioned to sand and lacquer the old boot room as pictured below.

Because the house keeper found the process to be so dust-free, surrounded by antiques, we were also asked to mask off and restore the floors at three of the entrances to the property.
