Can stiletto heal marks be removed from wooden floors?

The answer to the question is invariably yes, as can be seen from the attached photos. However, there are some provisos to this, in the photos the floor has been sanded with 24 grit pads to remove the existing finish however in order to remove the stiletto heal marks we had to recut the floor taking off about 2 millimetres in total. You therefore need to have that amount of wood available to cut away, on solid hard wood floors this is not usually a problem, but you can run into problems with engineered boards especially if they have been sanded before. This can all be assessed at the initial survey and the options can be talked through
